On Dec. 30, 1905, Pope St. Pius X wrote the following prayer in his own hand:
"Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, pray for us."
Five months later on May 13, 1906, the Holy See granted permission for the celebration of a feast in honor of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament.
